DMCA Policy
This document outlines our procedures for handling copyright infringement claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. It includes how to file a takedown notice, submit counter-notifications, and our repeat infringer policy.

Warning About False Claims:
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), knowingly submitting false DMCA notifications subjects the claimant to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. We actively pursue claims against those who submit fraudulent takedown notices.
1. Commitment to Copyright Protection
Parametric Semiconductors S.R.L. ("Epilogue") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and respond to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement.
We enable interoperability between lawfully owned media and modern computers through careful, respectful reverse engineering. Our products are designed exclusively for use with legitimately owned game cartridges.

3. Filing a DMCA Notice
To file a notice of alleged copyright infringement, you must provide a written communication that includes substantially the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed
Important: We may share your notice with the accused party and third parties, including publishing it publicly. Your notice must be truthful, and you may be liable for damages if you knowingly make material misrepresentations.
4. Counter-Notification Procedure
If you believe your content was wrongfully removed due to a DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material removed and the location where it appeared before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or Bucharest, Romania if outside the United States), and that you will accept service of process from the party who provided the original DMCA notice
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to our website and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
6. Preservation of Rights
We reserve the right to:
- Remove or disable access to any material at any time, with or without notice
- Refer matters to law enforcement as we deem appropriate
- Cooperate fully with rights holders in the exercise of their legal rights
- Seek damages and attorneys' fees from any party that submits a false or bad faith notice
7. No Duty to Monitor
We are under no obligation to monitor our services for infringing material. We respect the legitimate rights of copyright owners and have implemented this policy as part of our effort to balance those rights with the rights of our users.
8. Good Faith Requirement
All parties interacting with this DMCA policy must act in good faith. By using our services or submitting any notice under this policy, you agree that:
- You will not use this process for any improper purpose
- You will not make false or misleading claims
- You understand the legal consequences of false statements
- You will attempt informal resolution before filing formal notices where appropriate
